I was using SBI credit card for the first time and swiped my card at a petrol pump for 100 rupees. I dropped a cheque at SBI drop box before 2 days of last payment date. There was a holiday in between. I was charged 200 rupees fine for late payment. SBI credit card official told that it was not possible to encash money within such short span of time. Afterwards I submit cheque at least 7 working days before last payment date.
Four of us were enjoying our life at Shruthi Apartment, Miyapur, Hyderbad. I was using Airtel broadband service with land line phone (04040213565). Land line phone was provided by Airtel as a complement. While I was in Hyderabad, I created few blogs and started writing on it. Meanwhile I decided for moving to Bangalore. I informed Airtel to disconnect the broadband service before one day of billing date and next day I moved to Bangalore. I gave required fees to my room mate for paying Airtel. Next month bill was cleared, but following that month I again got a bill of Rs. 2500. I was surprised by this bill and had to pay the bill amount. The bill stated that phone was used after disconnection request also. I learnt that one of my room mate used the phone for 15 days after I left Hyderabad. I was thinking who is Guilty? Was I guilty for trusting my room mate? Was Airtel guily for not disconnecting the connection immediately? When Airtel could give a new connection within two days, then why the company could not disconnect a old connection within 2 days? Was my room mate guilty for thinking Airtel won't charge money after requesting for disconnection and wanted to take advantage of the situation?
