when you are going ....
take her sorrow and send her a bag full of happiness
take her anger and give her a heart full of love
take her pain and wish her to gain
take her wound and present her a bangle
take her burden and fill her with energy
tell her not to be single and she need to mingle

In the city of my lover
Here is December,
and I remember my lover
The year was 2007,
when she came to me from heaven.
It was December 4,
when I met her.
I smiled with joy,
when I saw the tomboy.
No lipstick on lips, no polish on nail, no kajal on eye,
but she looked beautiful.
.......
It is 2010,
and I am here again.
.......

Let me love you!
Let me remove darkness from my life with you sparkling face
Let me have some rest under the shade of your hair
Let me color my life with color of your lips
Let me make this world fair with the color of your soul
Let me destroy all my problems with your sharp knowledge
Let me heal my wound with your affection
Let me walk along with you holding your hand
Let me mask all bad by the scent of your face

Business and ethics
Father of Nation Gandhiji told we should not practice unfair means to achieve our goal. Todays businessmen do not follow this.

These were few examples among hundred of SMS I got from Airtel. I believe these links contain adult content. If anyone view these pages Airtel get money so they promo these kind of scheme. If anyone is using Airtel service they can access nude pictures in school, college, park, study room and temples etc. Adult contents can distract young students from study and can tempt them sexually. Recently few boys and girls of Delhi Public School (Dhanbad, Bihar/Jharkhand) were caught in objectionable position in school bath room. Parents need to be careful while giving mobile phone to their children.
Even I get SMS indicating that I can develop friendship with girls over phone if I pay Rs. 7 per minute. An article published in a magazine recently described sex worker are involved in this business and mobile user can be trapped for sexual activity.
This may be true for other mobile service provider. I request mobile service providers to avoid this kind of activity.

The watch
I was writing Microbiology final examination of B.Pharm 3rd year. Dr. Juhi Chakraborty, was examination incharge and she snatched my answer sheet 10 minutes before the end of exam. I answered slowly the initial questions. I has 15 minutes to answer last question where as I required 30 minutes. I started to write as fast as possible. The table was trembling. After 5 minutes of writing, my answer sheet was snatched. Dr. Juhi told that exam time is over and I cant write more. I was shocked. Exam stated at 10.00 am and it should end by 1.00 pm, but it was 12.50 pm only. Many of the students had left exam hall and another student was requesting Dr. Juhi to give some more time for writing. She collected all answer sheets and left exam hall. There was no point for pleading.
I thought to bring this mischief to the notice of principal, but could not meet principal that day. Next day, I wanted to see news headline to know result of a cricket match. I missed news headline because I found that my watch is showing wrong time and that indicated battery of my watch had to be replaced. Very soon I realized that Dr. Juhi collected my answer sheet in correct time. I thanked god for not giving me opportunity to resister a complaint near principal about Dr. Juhi.
Some time in our life we depend on others, if some body or some thing is not trust worthy then we may face problem. We should verify ourselves before commenting on others.

Rohitash
Rohitash aka Rohitash Jamwal, a M.Tech graduate works in Natural Remedies Private Limited (NRPL). I am a Ph.D scholar from Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy. We both work for a Govt. of India funded collaborative project on male sexual disorder.
On 20 July 2010, we planned to screen few herbal extracts for enzyme inhibition activity. previous day I was informed by Rohitash about the schedule as I was on leave due to some concerns about my dental health. On 20th, I had to reach NRPL by 8.0 am, but that day morning I over slept and woke up at 8.0 am.I needed 1 hour to complete by daily activity and reach NRPL. Previous night I could not sleep properly because of throat pain. My late arrival at NRPL means we might not complete the assay in time. That would irritate Rohitash. I imagined that Rohitash would be angry. I thought that I would skip my breakfast and speed up my activity so that I could reach NRPL at 8.30 am.
When I was leaving my room, I received a call from Rohitash. I was little scared to receive his call. I received his call finally and heard him asking "Where are you?" I felt as if Rohitash was angry. I thought to explain him about my problem. Then I heard him asking " Bring a masala dosa for me." This time he was polite. I felt very happy. I ate my breakfast and got a masala dosa for him.
Then? Guess what? That day we could not perform assay because one instrument was out of order. God is good.

I will be there for you
Fly as high as you can,
above the lake, tree and mountain.
If you are tired and need rest,
sit on me, I am mountain's crest.
Run as faster as you can,
faster than a tiger can.
When the race is over for you,
I will cheer for you.
Dive as down as you can,
down than the sunlight can.
If you look for something to eat upon,
I would be there as plankton.

A broken friendship
'What next?' Prasanta Mishra asked me, after last day exam (10+2 exam).
'I want to take up Physics and be a physicist like Einstein. He is my role model.' I said. 'Hold on' he told me,'I am asking how to enjoy today?'. I did not have any plan so, he offered to watch a movie in theater.
'What next?' my brother-in-law asked me after a week of exam. I repeated the same dialogue that I had told to my friend. My fantasy did not fascinate him. he told 'Physics will take you to nowhere.' 'You are good in biology so you write medical entrance exam' he told. I was sure that I wouldn't crack Orissa (Odisha) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). But I could not tell him the same thing as it would be a shame for me. During my inter (+2) my teachers believed to hand over us English notes on Physics, chemistry, mathematics and Biology so that we can pass exam with more than 60 % score. It was a blessing for all of us who came from Oriya medium school. Nobody actually prepared us for entrance exam. I thought 'when he is believing on my ability then why I should not have faith on me?' He suggested me to enroll in WISHDOM CLASSES, a Coaching center in Balasore. I obeyed him.
The owner of Wishdom Classes was Er. Nandadulal Ghadei, an Engineer by profession. He worked in a state govt department. He always inspired us to qualify JEE so that we can put 'Er' or 'Dr' before our name. His appeal was so interesting that when I did not qualify for MBBS, I thought I will complete Ph.D. so that I can put 'Dr' before my name.
We stayed in SHIVSHANKAR MESS, 24 students in 6 rooms. We had a well to cater our drinking needs. 6 months after using the water, I discovered a earthworm in its water.Till that time, I suffered from chronic diarrhea for six months till my brother knew the fact and prescribed Fluoroquinoline antibiotics for the same reason.
For 400 medical college seat of the state, 1 lakh student were appearing JEE.I had to score more than 90 % in routine test of coaching center, but I was scoring only around 60 %. I could not perform better in routine tests at wisdom classes. This irritated Mr. Nandadulal and who would tease me in the class and would suggest me to work more harder. He was the best teacher, but I could not take advantage of him. Some time he would tell not to sleep in the night till our home work is not finished. If one goes by meaning of his name then he was lord Krishna, but for me he was like uncle of Krishna i.e. Kamsha.
I also took some steps to improve my memory and bring me some peace from frustrating exam results of coaching center. I tried meditation and maunabrata. No communication with others for days together made me less friendly with other occupants of the mess.
Among all the bad things one good thing was my room mate Kartikk Sasmal. He was a fair, tall, handsome boy with a smiling face. What made me friendly with him was his respect for my meditation and maunabrata. So I was not greedy to give him my home made sweets and all. He taught me physics and I shared my biology guide book with him. He had a good character. When a young lady shopkeeper gave him more money than then he he had to get after he bought a chocolate from her, he returned the extra money back to shopkeeper. Some of my other friends thought that the girl loves him, but he did not think the same. He was inspired by swami vivekananda and would not think of girls unlike Virat who was in love with a near by village girl. Virat expressed his feeling on toilet wall with a charcoal so that the girl can see that. Next day, a gang of angry village boys came to our mess inquiring about Virat. Fortunately Virat was not there that time and by hearing this he left the mess same night.
One day I was ill, so Kartik nursed me. For better treatment, I wanted to go to my home. Kartik dropped me at bus stop which was 2 km away by his bike. I was thank full to him and hugged him. After 2 days at home, I recovered. When I was returning to mess from home I got some cake and sweet for Kaartik. After reaching at mess, I went near to Kartik to give a box of sweet to him. That time Kartik was reading and when I wished him he said 'hi' in reply but did not look at me. I felt his attitude as rude. I expected him to inquire about my health. I was broken and came to my bed with sweet box. Without Kartik's knowledge he had become my best friend and that day he broke our friendship.
Effort of Mr. Nandadulal did not go in vein. My standard improved a little. Even though I could not get a MBBS seat, I got a entry to Pharmacy career. I had respect for Kartik and after 15 years when I remembered about the incident, I tried to contact him. I thought he would have become a renounced doctor in Orissa. I could not trace him down, even ORKUT could not help me to get him. Some day, I wish to find him and thank him for helping me when I was ill.

My first date
February 14 is Valentine's day.
As per Wikipedia, Saint Valentine's Day (commonly shortened to Valentine's Day)is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 500. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards.
By the time I was 27 yeas old I had known something about Valentine's day. How Lovers celebrate the day and how some Indian culture lover punish some of them. I had a doubt that when everybody accept love of lord Krishna and Radha, then why few people are objecting celebration on valentines day. Krishna and Radha never married each other. May be their love was pure and they never thought of marriage. Business establishments those get benefited by Valentines day celebration make a hype. Since I got my first e-mail address, I get lot of mail before valentines day suggesting me to gift something to my valentine. As I did not have any valentine till year 2007 so I could not gift anything to anybody.
On 12th February 2007, my brother called me from New Delhi telling that he found a good match for me from a matrimonial site. Actually he created my profile in matrimony site and used to search for a GOOD girl for me. As per him the girl was university topper in Economics and was working in financial banking sector. I was reluctant for marriage because I thought my salary was not enough to give my would be wife a comfortable life. Vishalakshi, my colleague did not think the same way. She told all girl do not see what a boy is earning. Some girl look for attitude, behavior of a boy and a good family. My brother told 'you will not have any financial problem as long as I am there. What I will do with the money I have?'. A very good brother indeed. Even I was fascinated to marry a topper. So I did not want to miss the chance. Though my brother was on a business trip in New Delhi, he found time for meeting girl's family. I felt happy. My brother booked my flight ticket from Hyderabad to New Delhi on 13th Feb 2007. Eventually I had to meet the girl on 14th February.
Actually selecting a girl for marriage is very difficult task.I wanted to marry a highly educated girl. There were lot of opinion that I had to remember while selecting a girl. My mother wanted a homely girl. My brother wanted a fair, smart and tall girl for me. My sister warned that fair girls are lazy and egoistic, so preferably I should marry a brown girl. My brother-in-law said me the danger of marring a working lady. One good thing about my brother-in-law is that, he always backs his theory with example. He told me how his friend's life was in mess after he married to a working lady. 'The time you think your wife's money as your money, then problem starts' he quoted I thought of satisfying everybody. So I wanted to marry a girl who is highly educated, homely, fair, smart and not egoistic . But, again there was a problem. My sister felt that I may not get a girl having all the desired quality. She told if I wait for such girl I may not marry at all. That was disheartening. But this girl,Mona Mohanty had all the qualities we were looking for.I was very optimistic. I thought she could not get a better boy like me. And I was little nervous before meeting the girl because I was thinking my low salary might be a problem.
After completing my work at office, I had to take a flight to Delhi. While coming from office to my room, one person handed over me an paper with some advertisement on it. Advertisement was on Telugu. Though I had learnt speaking Telugu, I did not know reading Telugu alphabet. The advertisement paper seemed to be waste for me but I did not throw it as it would have hurted the person who gave me the paper. Then I got a phone call from my friend and who gave me phone number of another friend. I wrote down the phone number on the advertisement paper and kept it in my wallet. After reaching home I hurriedly went to airport and caught a flight for Delhi. My brother and sister-in-law received me from Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi. That night we stayed in hotel and and next morning we had to see the girl.
On one occasion my brother had advised me to read a book, "Men are from mars, women are from Venus". Though I started reading the book I could not complete it. Before, I see the girl my brother gave me few more tips for my first date. He told I need to represent myself as a jovial person and not as a studious person. I should not hurt her and try to understand her feelings. I myself had few important questions to ask her. I tried to recall all the questions and memorize it. I though of asking such questions like 'Do you know cooking?' very old person's attitude and wanted to avoid such questions.
When you meet a girl and fall love with her, people tell that as 'love at first site'. But, what you would tell when you watch photo of a lady and listen some praise about her then start loving her? 'Love at first first photo?' I do not know. Actually I had started loving Mona before I meet her. Even I developed a fear to loose her. You do not fear of loosing some body unless you love her. Love is very mysterious. You love a lady by seeing her photo but you can not love your classmate or female colleague. Always I dreamed of loving somebody and the marry, but I could not love anybody? Why? Did I lack time? Always Dr. Prasad suggested me to get some free time for party and wooing ladies. I could not do that. Did I lack confidence to propose any girl? Or I feared that I may get rejected? Every thing is fair in love. Even you can enjoy rejection if you truly love somebody. The best thing about me what I believe is that I could not love anybody. Now I was in love with Mona so I felt very happy. I was anxious to meet her and could not sleep properly in the night.
Next day, I was dressed with a red cotton shirt and a white pant. My brother did not think that was a good combination. He gave me a pink colored silk shirt. Seeing me on that dress he was happy. Brother, sister-in-law and me went to girls house at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. We reached her home at 9 am. Her family was staying on 5th floor in a seven-story building. Mona's father Mr. Pabitra Mohanty was waiting in the lawn to receive us. I could see that Mona was trying to watch me from window but I could not see her properly. We reached her home. Would-be-father-in-law declared our arrival to all family members.
Mona's mother, her younger sister and brother came to meet and greet us. We sat in the drawing room and started discussing formally. After 15 minutes, mother of mona called her.She came with cool drink and her mother brought sweet. She was dressed with a pink Saree with red boarder. Fair and slim lady with Long and dark hair. I just could not take my eye away from her for few minutes. I became conscious when her mother asked her to offer us drink. By this time her sister and brother had gone. After offering drinks to others, she came to me. Now I could she her clearly. dark eye, pink lips, sharp nose caught my attention. While taking glass my finger touched her finger, she felt little uneasy. My sister-in-law asked Mona to sit on sofa put opposite to me. I wanted to see her as long as possible. I could guess that my brother is laughing at me. I became conscious and started drinking cool drink. Mona's parents and my brother were talking on various issues which was boring for me.
My sister-in-law suggested that Mona and me should go out and talk freely. My brother advised that we should go to Mughal garden of Rashtrapati bhavan. Her parents did not have any problem and I was looking for such a chance. So we both went to Mughal garden. Mona was driving and I was sitting beside her. Car was filled with her perfume. New Delhi, that day brought me more cheer. We reached Moghul garden by 10.30 am.
Mughal garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan was created by British. The garden beer an impression of Mughal architecture. The garden have a main garden along with Terrace Garden, Long Garden or the 'Purdha Garden' and The Circular (Sunken or Butterfly) Garden. The garden remains open for public in February-March of every year. Visitors are allowed entry to the garden from 9.30 A.M. till 2.30 P.M. on all days except Monday. The garden has an ever green texture. There are water fountains in the garden. Evergreen fragrant shrubs and creepers like Raat ki Rani, Juhi, Golden Showers, Gardenia, Bougainvillea, Climbing Roses etc are planted along the terrace walls. There are more than 250 varieties of roses including black, blue and green roses. The garden is among finest rose garden of world. In the evenings Peacock with their consorts can be seen leisurely moving around. And then there are parrots, mynahs, dovesm piegons who bath and bask with an ease of manner that evokes envy and admiration in all onlookers. I had seen Hanging garden of Mumbai, botanical garden of Ooty, Lalbagh botanical garden of Bangalore and Brindavan garden of Mysore, India. But, Mughal garden was superb and incomparable to other gardens (take out light show of Brindavan garden).
After 2.30 pm we went to McDonald at Connaught place.I could have taken her to any five star hotel near Connaught place as I had my brother's credit card with me, but she preferred McDonald. It was not the taste of food for which I went to McDonald, but it was the interesting story behind making of McDonald.
As per McDonald's website,in the late 1940’s, Dick and Mac McDonald were searching for a way to improve their little drive-in restaurant business in San Bernardino, California. Rather than tinker with the business, which was bringing in a very comfortable $200,0001 yearly, they invented an entirely new concept based upon speedy service, low prices, and big volume.Ray Kroc was 52 years old – an age when many people begin thinking about retirement – when he founded the company that has become the McDonald’s of today. But Kroc, who dropped out of high school at age 15 to drive a Red Cross ambulance in World War I, was a constant dreamer...a salesman who never stopped looking for the ultimate product to sell. He began by selling paper cups to sidewalk vendors in Chicago, took a fling at Florida real estate, and had ultimately built a good business as the exclusive distributor for “Multimixer” milkshake machines. It was the sale of Multimixers, which first drew him to the McDonald brothers’ hamburger stand in San Bernardino, California. After all, if he could discover the secret of how they sold 20,000 shakes each month, how many more milkshake machines could he sell? But when Kroc showed up at McDonald’s one morning in 1954 and saw the rapidly moving line of customers buying bags of burgers and fries, he had but one thought: “This will go anyplace. Anyplace!”. After the McDonald brothers explained that they didn’t have the personal desire to oversee the expansion of their concept across the nation, Ray Kroc became their exclusive franchising agent for the entire country. A great salesman had discovered his ultimate product. Kroc formed the new franchising company on March 2, 1955 under the name of McDonald’s System, Inc.Till now McDonald have more than 7000 outlet all over the world.
Since, morning I was thinking of an innovative idea to propose Mona. I did not have a courage to propose with a rose while on my knee. Few days back i had searched internet for different ways of proposing. I knew different ways to propose, but the problem was I did not want to utter a word. What will happen if everybody around us know that I proposed and she rejected? or if she gets upset with my proposal. Everything was seems to be perfect for proposing, but I did not have the courage. Suddenly, one idea came to my mind after Pizza arrived on our table. I wrote 'ILU' on my mizza by tomato juice and turned the pizza towards her so that she can read. I was thinking whether she knows meaning of 'ILU' or not. I thought if she knows the meaning and object then i will eat the sauce immediately, so that I will not be embarrassed in front of others. To my surprise, she wrote 'I2' on her pizza. My effort was successful, my first propose did not go waste.
After lunch, through India gate we returned to Mona's home. She played some old romantic songs in stereo. I gave her my visiting card containing my phone number and e-mail address. I told to my brother I love Mona and would like to marry her. My sister-in-law gave Platinum ring to Mona as our approval for marriage. The same night I returned to Hyderabad. My brother instructed me not to call her till Mona's family call us. I kept my brother's word.
For two days there was no call from Mona's house. That day evening when I was coming from the office I got same advertise paper, some thing was written on the Telugu, and on the other side there was some thing written on the English. I started reading. What was that? It was advertisement of a clinic treating Sexual diseases. Now I can remember that when giving my vising card earlier advertising paper was dropped in Mona's car. I forgot to collect that advertisement paper. If Mona would have studied that she would have thought that I was suffering from sexual disease. She would have thought that I preserved that advertisement as I needed to go to that clinic for treatment. Which girl would marry boy a guy with sexual disease? Now, I was clear that the advertisement paper broke my marriage. I never told this thing to any of my family members. My brother would have scolded me for my carelessness and stupidity. That day onwards whenever I see a person distributing advertisement paper I try to avoid eye contact with him, so that he doses not give me an advertisement paper. Even if any person puts a advertisement paper on my hand, I try to put it on dust bin as soon as possible. And I keep some extra plain paper with me to write down any phone number. I prefer my friends to sms me any phone number.
I have lost Mona, but I cherish all incidents that happened on 14th February 2007.

Mother
On 29 May 2010, my mother had to travel to Seattle, USA from New Delhi,India by Northwest Airline via Amsterdam, Netherlands. She could not communicate in English. She was moving to USA alone and I was worried about that. I provided her a Phone with Indian Sim card. Incoming and outgoing call would have costed 150 and 100 rupees respectively. I told her to switch off her phone during flight journey and to switch on the phone once she reach in the airport of Amsterdam and Seattle. Once she would be in Amsterdam and Seattle she had to call me and inform about her well being.Even, I gave her international calling card separately, so that she can call us. From Seattle, my brother had to receive her. She told me not to worry about her and God was there to help her out. Flight departure time was 12.50 am on 29 May 2010 from New Delhi. I dropped her at airport.
Flight time from New Delhi to Amsterdam was 8.5 hours for 6363 kilometers. Then, after 6 hours of rest, flight time from Amsterdam to Seattle was 10.5 hours for 8366 Kilometers. I called to her mobile number when she was expected to be in Amsterdam and Seattle airport. Phone was switched off. Finally my brother called me up after he had received her from airport. I was upset that she did not switch on her mobile in Amsterdam and Seattle airport.
I asked her 'Why you did not switch on your mobile in Amsterdam and Seattle airport?'
She replied 'Did you eat Golap Jamun? I had kept that in refrigerator.'
'Why you did not switch on your mobile in Amsterdam and Seattle airport?'I repeated.
She tried to explain 'I did not want to waste your money. I will return the Sim card to you when your brother goes to India'
I was astonished. How much a mother care for her child?

Wood cutter and axe
Long long ago a poor man was living in a village. He was living in a hut by the site of a river near hill. He was happy .....
Once he went to town to earn more money. He was not educated so could not get good job. By the evening he reached near a saw mill. He requested saw mill owner to give him a job. The owner was a good person and said that he will give the poor person a job. Next morning the owner gave the poor person an axe and asked to cut tree. The poor person went to near by jungle and cut 15 trees. That day the wood cutter got 50 rupees. Next day the wood cutter planned to cut more tree and earn more. Alas! he could cut only 12 trees. The following day wood cutter could only cut 10 trees.
Wood cutter was very disappointed on his performance. He met Baidji (Ayrvedic doctor) to get any medicine which might increase his performance. Baidji examined the wood cutter and found no illness. Then Baidji listened story of wood cutter. Then Baidji found the solution for wood cutter. Baidji told wood cutter that every day he need to sharpen his axe to get consistent and better result.
Similarly, now-a-days we need to update our knowledge to perform better in this hi-tech world.

woh soyethe aur hum unke yad kar rahethe
Kehte hain woh humse,
humein chahte hain woh dilse,
Chahethe dilki bat sunayenge hum phonese,
Lekin jaga na paye unko unki sapnose.
Wada woh kiyethe milne ke liye chandni raat main,
hum toh intezar kiye the lekin
woh khoyethe apni sapno ki duniya main.
Yeh khuda humne toh apka pyar chahatha,
humko kisi aur ki pyar kyun diya,
humare nind churake unko inta nind kyun diya?
Jaage rahe sare raat taki unse hosake baat,
Dosh kyun denge phone ko
agar humare yaad najagaya unko ratko.
Chahta hun unko dekhta rahun yun jindgi bhar,
Din main suraj aur rat main chand bankar.

What I know about you
You respect me as you try to resist my ideas
You pray for me when you stop quarreling with me
You say so many things while your mouth is closed
you still love me even if you are trying to hate me
some time we loose to gain
and some time a little gain fetch us a great loss
